An antique George III style butler's secretary desk with a bookcase top. Made of walnut with brass hardware in the early 19th Century with no branding mark. Upper bookcase, added later to piece, features moulded cornice above two doors, each inset with individually paned glass, lockable with key. Lower section with top two faux drawers revealing a nice slide out interior desk with pigeon holes and small drawers, above three large dovetailed drawers, raised on splayed bracket feet. Has one key.
