A rare find, an antique 19th Century Georgian tilt-top banquet table, unbranded. Flame mahogany, banded top, inlaid details to top and pedestals. Each pedestal has four legs with brass paw toe caps and casters. The dual pedestals support each square half of the table which pivot on screw pins to tilt up each section. A brass latch secures each top section to the pedestals and brass "forks" secure the two table sections together. Has one leaf which also secures with the "forks". Made in England.
