A high quality secretary desk in the Georgian style, no branding mark. Yew wood of two piece construction with brass hardware. Lower desk features slant front locking drop-down desk with leather writing surface, pull out supports, interior drawers and cubbies. Beneath are four dovetail drawers, top drawer being lockable, and bracket feet. Top bookcase features three adjustable wooden shelves behind locking glass door with fretwork. Top is finished with crown moulding. Possibly made in England or the USA in the early to mid 20th Century. Includes one key that works all three locks.
