An antique 19th Century Chippendale style bachelor chest, unbranded. Burl walnut with banded top & drawer fronts, brass hardware, bevel edge to the top, and bracket feet. Features two smaller over two larger drawers of hand dovetailed construction with lock escutcheons. Made in France, circa 1880's.

Excellent antique condition with normal wear consistent with age and light previous use. Drawers function properly. Locks untested, no key present. Structurally sound and sturdy.
