An antique 19th Century Chippendale style bachelor chest, unbranded. Old carcass birch with yew wood veneers, banded top with an ogee edge, oystered veneers finish to edge of the top & at top of the base, cockbeading to drawer fronts, brass hardware, and bracket feet. Features two smaller over two larger drawers of hand dovetailed construction with lock escutcheons. Likely made in England, in the late 19th Century.

Very good antique condition with wear consistent with age and normal previous use. Some minor nicks. Drawers function properly. Locks untested, no key present. Structurally sound and sturdy.
