A set of eight antique 19th Century Chippendale style dining chairs, unbranded. Solid oak with a dark stain, carved crest rails & back rests, curved arms with supports on armchairs, textured rose color diamond pattern fabric upholstered seats, stretchers, and straight legs with a fluted edge. Set includes two armchairs and six side chairs. Likely made in the United States, in the late 19th Century.

Very good antique condition with signs of wear consistent with age and normal previous use. Some minor nicks. No tears, stains or odor to fabric. Seats pop out easily for recovering. Structurally sound and sturdy.
