An Italian Provincial style armoire / linen press by Century Furniture, from their Cardella Collection. Cherry wood with decorative brass hardware, crown molding with carved details, arched doors, bombe shape & clipped corners to lower chest, and ogee bracket feet. Upper cabinet features solid double doors revealing an adjustable top shelf, six cubbies which are removable, and two smaller over two larger drawers of dovetail construction. Lower chest has two large drawers of dovetail construction with faux keyhole escutcheons. Two piece construction. Made in North Carolina, USA, circa 1980's.
