An Asian Chinoiserie style occasional chest by Hekman. Whitewashed hardwood with some distressing, hand painted with Chinoiserie scenes, raised banded bevel edge top, gold painted accents, decorative brass hardware, fully finished back, decorative fretwork accents at leg joints, and straight legs with slightly curved feet. Features three drawers of dovetail construction. Made in the USA, in the late 20th Century.
