A Chippendale style breakfront china cabinet by Hickory Chair, from their Historical James River Plantations Collection. Banded flame mahogany with brass hardware, broken center pediment with fretwork, crown & dentil moulding, banded door fronts, ogee edge between cabinets, and a solid base. Top cabinet is in three separate sections, glass doors with fretwork, lighted with a dimmer switch, and has two adjustable plate grooved glass shelves in each section. Bottom cabinet features three drawers of dovetail construction, center drawer having a felt lined silverware organizer, over three separate storage cabinets with solid doors, with each having an adjustable wood shelf. Two piece construction. Made in North Carolina, USA, in the late 20th Century.
