A king size panel bed in the Traditional style designed by Bob Timberlake for Lexington Furniture, from their Old Salem Collection. Cherry wood with large carved corner posts, tall on the headboard with ball finials and shorter on the footboard. A tall headboard with three large center panels, a scroll with ball ends to the top, and the adjoining tall rounded carved posts. A low solid footboard with the adjoining short rounded carved posts with decoratively carved caps. Metal clip held side rails with wood bracers and a center metal rail with bracers for mattress support. Made in Lexington, North Carolina, USA, in the late 20th Century.
