A French Louis XV style silver double salt cellar by the Parisian silversmith Jean-Baptiste-Claude Odiot. Crafted to the French silver standard, shaped like intertwined dolphins with their tails holding up two oyster shells and their heads resting on a small scalloped oval footed tray. Stamped on underside of the tray with the number "9 3 5 9", "Mon Odiot Paris" and the Odiot hallmark. Crafted in France, in the 19th Century.
