A contemporary adaptation of a Georgian style pedestal table by Baker Furniture, from their Stately Homes Collection. Features circular top crossbanded with yew wood in a round medallion, is bound in brass and decorated with an elaborate multiple-star motif inlaid with satinwood and laurel. A hexagonal baluster-shaped pillar inlaid with ebonized stringing supports the piece. Its short, curved legs are similarly inlaid and taper to brass lion paw toes and casters. Made in the USA in the the late 20th Century.
