A Chippendale style secretary desk made by Davis Cabinet Co of Nashville, Tennessee, USA in the mid 20th Century. Solid mahogany of one piece construction with brass hardware. Upper bookcase has a double bonnet top and three adjustable wooden shelves behind double doors with glass panes. Lower desk features a slant drop-front desk with pull out supports and three large dovetailed drawers. Inside the desk area are one small drawer and five cubbies.
