A Chippendale style highboy chest by Henkel Harris, of Winchester, Virginia, USA. An SPNEA (Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities) approved 18th Century reproduction. Mahogany with brass hardware, pediment top with center & side finials, open fan carvings to two drawers, carved apron with reverse finials, carved knees, curved legs with ball and claw feet. Features eleven dovetail drawers of various sizes, four upper lockable with key and one lower with faux lockplate. Includes four keys. Two piece construction. Made circa 1985.
