A Georgian style breakfront bookcase china cabinet by Henredon, from their 18th Century Portfolio. Yew wood with inlaid details, brass hardware, crown & stylized dentil moulding to top, arched solid glass doors with arched shell marquetry, ogee edge to bottom of upper cabinet, and ogee edge to the solid plinth base. Upper lighted cabinet has three separate areas with glass doors revealing an interior with three adjustable plate grooved wood glass shelves in each area. Lower cabinet features center section solid doors revealing three drawers of dovetail construction with top drawer having a removable divider and a felt lined lined side for silverware. Flanking are two one-door side cabinets revealing storage with one adjustable wood shelf in each. Two piece construction. Made in Morganton, North Carolina, USA, in the late 20th Century.
