An extra tall gentleman's chest in the Japanese Tansu Campaign style by Henredon. Mahogany with brass hardware & accents, overhanging top, decorative upper, center & lower panels, carved apron, and turned inward feet. Upper cabinet features two solid doors that reveal a fixed top shelf, an adjustable middle shelf and four removable slats that create six cubbies when in place. Lower two solid doors conceal four drawers of dovetail construction. Made in Morganton, North Carolina, USA, circa 1981.
