This bed was purchased new from Room & Board in 2008. Room & Board currently has a simliar bed "Piper" for $795. This bed is the same design as the Piper, but it is the prior generation, this bed is more substantial than the current Piper model - you can see the difference in the thickness of the headboard and footboard. This bed has a nice clean, minimal look. It will last FOREVER. No boxspring required.
