A Chippendale style gentleman's chest by Statton Furniture, from their Trutype Americana line. Solid cherry wood with their Centennial finish, brass hardware, crown molding at the top, fluted column-like front side corners, panel doors, carved apron, and raised on cabriole legs with pad feet. Upper cabinet features double doors revealing an interior with an adjustable upper shelf, three removable cubbies, a fixed center shelf, and three drawers of dovetail construction with top drawer having a fixed divider. Lower section has one large drawer of dovetail construction. One piece construction. Made in Hagerstown, Maryland USA, circa 1973.
