BAKER Historic Charleston Collection Bonnet Top China Curio Cabinet

From the Baker website:

"This mahogany bonnet top China cabinet has been adapted from a pair of English originals (circa 1790) found in the Joseph Manigault House, now owned and operated by the Charleston, SC Museum. Elegant twin doors highlight two adjustable wood framed glass shelves and one fixed wood framed shelf.

Baker’s expertise in meticulously re-crafting history's finest furniture is proudly displayed in  the Historic Charleston collection. Based on thousands of hours of research and design, each piece in the collection is inspired by the city’s finest original furniture.

Without equal among Colonial cities for its wealth and sophistication, Charleston, South Carolina, still boasts the largest repository of 18th and early 19th century architecture in America.

We are proud that our Historic Charleston collection helps fund efforts to preserve this national treasure. Established in 1947, the Historic Charleston Foundation is dedicated to preserving and protecting the built environment of Charleston.

At Baker, we honor Charleston's heritage and its rich history. From formal to casual, we’ve recreated its best-loved pieces."
